I am a filmmaker specialising in human connection.

We all share common ground, we can all relate to each other’s experiences and emotions. With my films, I try to find the heart in the story we are telling. - and all of my work is driven by emotional impact and resonance. I’m about the moments between moments, the imperfect, the real and genuine.

I think my strengths lie in truly understanding and empathising with people and this ethos works it’s way in and out of industries from commercial to cause lead film. I want people to feel empowered, to feel listened to and to give each story the love and respect it deserves. I also make huge efforts to make sure this is mirrored on set with cast and crew.

I LOVE experimenting with colour and texture, working with actors and a cinematic image. Love a bit of pro mist, love a bit of symmetry and can’t get enough of putting the camera in unusual places that don’t always correlate with what the human eye might expect. If I can have at least one shot in a film where the viewer has to ask “how?” then that’s a win.

As well as my work as a Director, Filmmaker and Editor, i founded IAMJACK a production company housing some of the most exciting, young and hard working talent in the industry today. We are all hugely dedicated to what we do and put our ‘human touch’ at the forefront of our work.

I love what I do and I know how lucky I am to do it.
